Not so “broadband” – The Hype and the Reality – by Dr Louis Arnoux
Over the last five years, from being at best a curiosity, broadband has become central to the ongoing development of each country’s and the global economy, and a must have for all Internet users, in business and at home. Broadband is now also becoming central to entertainment and, as we at IndraNet had anticipated over five years ago, is in the process of displacing and redefining TV and other media in Europe, North America and countries like Japan and Korea. Large markets are undoubtedly there. The issue though is that very few would-be users actually have access to real broadband.
